Cancellation Policy

At Northern Skin Doctors, our independent doctors strive to provide high-quality
healthcare in a timely manner. Missed appointments, late arrivals, and last-minute
cancellations disrupt this goal and affect not only our providers but also other patients
in need of care. To ensure smooth scheduling and respect for everyone's time, please
take note of our appointment policy.
Cancellation Policy
When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you, making it
unavailable to other patients. We understand that at times, appointments need to be
changed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 24
hours in advance. This allows us to offer that slot to someone else in need of medical
care.
How to Cancel Your Appointment
If you need to cancel your appointment, you can do so through the HotDoc app (for app
bookings) or by calling the practice between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
Fees
Patients not attending or cancelling their appointment within 24 hours of their
scheduled appointment time will be charged a non-attendance fee.

Standard Consultation $50
Procedure $100
Please note:
ï‚· Medicare/DVA etc rebates do not apply to cancellation fees.
ï‚· No subsequent bookings will be made for new patients until the non-attendance
fee is settled.
ï‚· For current patients who do not provide the necessary cancellation notice twice
or more, no subsequent bookings will be made until the non-attendance fee is
settled.
